These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Baby Bet. By using the service you accept these terms.

The service

Baby Bet lets expecting parents create a shareable page on which friends and family can submit predictions about the coming baby (gender, name, birth date, weight, height). The service is provided free of charge, as-is.

Access

Browsing public baby pages and submitting a prediction does not require an account. Creating and managing a baby page requires a valid email address and authentication via magic link.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping access to your email address secure, as it is used to sign in. You are also responsible for the content you publish on your pages.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to publish unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing, or infringing content, to impersonate third parties, to spam, or to interfere with the operation of the service. The publisher may remove content and close accounts that violate these rules.

Content you submit

You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant the publisher a non-exclusive, free licence to host and display that content on the service for the sole purpose of providing the service.

Availability

We aim to keep the service available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or discontinue all or part of the service at any time, in particular for maintenance reasons.

Liability

The service is offered on a best-effort basis. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for indirect damages, loss of data, or loss of opportunity arising from the use or unavailability of the service.

Termination

You can delete your pages at any time from your dashboard, or request account deletion by writing to hello@baby-bet.fr. The publisher may terminate your access in case of breach of these Terms.

Applicable law

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will fall under the competent French courts.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
