Baby Bet uses a minimal number of cookies, strictly required to operate the service. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or any third-party tracker.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. Cookies allow a site to remember your actions and preferences (for example, that you are signed in) between pages or visits.

Cookies we use

• Session cookie (PHPSESSID): allows you to stay signed in, keeps your language preference, and protects forms against CSRF. HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, 30-day lifetime.
• Prediction cookie (predicted_*): records that a guest has already submitted a prediction on a given baby page, to prevent duplicate predictions. 90-day lifetime.

Consent

Because these cookies are strictly necessary to provide a service you have explicitly requested, they are exempt from the prior consent requirement under article 82 of the French Data Protection Act and the corresponding CNIL guidelines.

Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking the session cookie will prevent you from signing in or submitting predictions.
